Meet Our Directors

Kevin Jedele

Mr. Jedele has taught at Lake Travis Middle School since 2004 and has been doing band his entire life. A child of an Air Force bandsman, Mr. Jedele has performed in a variety of ensembles ranging from polka bands to The University of Texas Longhorn band and everything in between.

 

Currently, he plays trumpet in the Austin Symphonic Band. When is he is not performing or teaching, he enjoys reading, endurance sports, and spending time with his family.

In addition to teaching Honors Band, Mr. Jedele also teaches beginning trumpet, french horn, double reeds, and low brass.

Rebecca Martinez

Ms. Martinez grew up in San Antonio, Texas and received her Bachelor of Music Studies from Texas State University. Before coming to Lake Travis ISD, she taught in Del Valle ISD. She is excited to be here and is looking forward to meeting the students and families in the LTMS band program. 

Ms. Martinez will be teaching beginning clarinet, flute, saxophone, and double reeds, along with the Symphonic Band. 

Outside of school, Ms. Martinez loves to lift weights, read books, and spend time with her friends and family. She is recently engaged to her fiancé, Austin, a band director in Hays CISD.

Jordan Reddicks

Mr. Reddicks is the Assistant Director of Percussion for Lake Travis ISD. He coordinates percussion at Hudson Bend Middle School, Lake Travis Middle School, and Lake Travis High School.

 

Mr. Reddicks received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Texas in 2016, where he studied with Mark Ford, Paul Rennick, Christopher Deane, Ed Soph, and Jose Aponte. He has taught privately and in conjunction with multiple public schools in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

 

Mr. Reddicks was an active member of Drum Corps International as a member of the Oregon Crusaders (2009-2011), Boston Crusaders (2012), and Santa Clara Vanguard (2013-2014). At the conclusion of the 2014 season, Reddicks and the rest of the Santa Clara Vanguard percussion section were awarded the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award.
